翘嘴鹬

翘嘴鹬（英文名：Terek Sandpiper，学名：Xenus cinereus），是鸻形目丘鹬科翘嘴鹬属的鸟类。中等体型（23厘米）的低矮灰色鹬。嘴长而上翘；上体灰色，具白色半截眉纹；黑色的初级飞羽明显；繁殖期肩羽具黑色条纹，胸部具黑褐色细纵纹，羽干深色；腹部及臀白色。飞行时翼上狭窄的白色内缘明显。繁殖于欧亚大陆北部；冬季南移远及澳大利亚和新西兰。该物种已被列入国家林业局2000年8月1日发布的《国家保护的有益的或者有重要经济、科学研究价值的陆生野生动物名录》。

非繁殖区： AF, OR, AU, also Middle East : tropical to subtropical coastal mudflats, estuaries of Paleotropics:, s, e Africa, Malagasy region, Middle East, s, se Asia, Indonesian Arch., New Guinea, Australia (mainly nw, n, ne), Philippines, se China and Taiwan; rarer to Bismarck Arch., Solomon Is., New Caledonia and New Zealand
